Good work, nice to see it from that angle.

We were sat in the other stand..

Have you got any of Mulney (i think i've got that right) in the Mk 2 Escort?

I'd love to see his entries from where you were sitting?

dunno what the real results were, but heres mine..

first run

6-4 Bon lost, no doubt.

second run

6-4 Bon won, BUT to be honest, if i was feeling a bit harsh its a bit less of a win than run1, so a REALLY harsh judge wouldve ended it there

third run

5 all, i cant say anyone was better there

fourth run

Bon was WELL fast there, but frick me the Deane was on is ass still, 5all

fifth run

5 all again unless something happened behind the smoke you couldnt spot from that angle.

sixth run

Oof, I dunno, he caught him a bit more on the last bit, but shit, id call that 5all again if the first one could go one more time!

Overall, Fooooookin close

Fair play for putting this much effort into this post and after viewing our judging from a different viewing point/angle as having watched the above vids i am happy with the result.
Regarding the decisions we made, we were more than fair to bon and from our angle the distances between the cars in vids 5 and 6 clearly show why Deane had the advantage.
Its virtually impossible for the chase car to be inside the lead car on such a narrow circuit with equal angle, on a corner with such a small radius.
After spending 2 days watching cars drifting this course we base the decisions on all these and other factors........................................... ......

JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL

thats exactly how i called it when i was standing there...

from were we were standing deane got really close on the last run... i think thats were they choose deane as the winner but it was harsh though..

in farness to deane bon made a hude mistake on the forst run... it should have been a 7-3... to deane.

julian awnser the text i sent you today about them r33 handbrake cables

Yeah I fricked up bad on the first run then left my foot resting on the clutch on the corner exit and the clutch span up, trying to do the whole lot in 3rd following wasn't sensible.

I'm seriously disappointed with my driving over the weekend and just stupidity too, after struggling with varying traction in qualifying I bumped tyre pressure up a bit but then didn't have traction (and ran off course slightly), should have jumped out and dropped pressures there and then and I dunno why I didn't.

Gives me more determination for next time though. I'll channel my anger into being better-er. lol

I suck at following closely in the Chaser too I need to drive it more, get more of a feel of it's dimensions. Maybe the weight doesn't help me close in the gap, speed control isn't as instant as in something lighter.

I'm pissed off with myself. lol

I didn't want to agree with the Judges but Deane was so so close the whole way round that it's hard to argue!! one last one more time would have been good fun
I personally think Bon drove great and think the crowd were disapointed Bon went out (well Row E were anyway lol) I can't believe how fast two of those runs were!
Anyway.... on to round two muhahahaha

Our horns were all used up on Bon alone and Deane is a friend too.

I said this was gonna be a tight one to judge before they even started didnt i, but i was not expecting a battle quite like that, Mike was so aggressive and just had that extra edge in the end. Big up ROW E (and F) dont forget Clarkey in front
