| Skylinepart.cm ![]() | lol, flappy lexan windows have a mind of there own over 80mph, must make some sort of catch for them at the top (keeps the car vented though). A soding 5 pence oil feed line gasket gave up and caused the fire, just cosmetic damage couple of hours work will sort it. Forgot to say a huge thanks to the Lydden hill fire crew, they were there in seconds flat, didnt even need to pull the in car extinguisher thingy. ![]() |

| Skylinepart.cm ![]() | Lol thought he would be thats why I left a bit in, he stood there chating for ages, had a good laugh when I downloaded the cam. Mr Polo, good plan I will do that. Mr Bizz, I am going to heat wrap every thing in sight, move all the wireing well away from exhaust and turbo so if it decides to flame on again there will be nothing to burn ![]() |

| Slightly off topic but I'm interested to know peeps views. I was looking at doing this but several people ( i think it was on here?) said they've stopped doing it because the hearwrap stuff soaks up fluids (presumably fuel/oil) and can make things worse in the event of a fire? |
