The guy behind looks better on the brakes at the start, but he's doing the casing and has Norris as a reference point, so that would help too. Are people suggesting that Norris didn't lose his brakes and just decided to do a full chat spin-turn on the grass because He Is Simon Norris and makes a squillion quids a year and just likes wrecking other peoples' cars? Man, the tinternet is truly wank sometimes...
agreed

Simons cool. I think the main reason people think hes a shit driver, is cus he leads a life they are jealous of. Drives a Lambo, and gets to cane Lancers all the time to promote his company. Also without people like him, the scene would be stagnant and have a lack of excitment.
I think he holds the lap record in his class? So I see it as impossible for him to be a bad driver.
Plus I loved his first crash, looked awesome.

I got to agree with the most of the comments on here.
Is that some sort of amuater race?
The orange driver seemed alot smoother being able to carry more speed into the corners whereas norris one was relying on power.
Both seemed to have an agressive driving style, even more so when they were overtaken. Without any symapthy for the car. The tyres simply couldn't cope.

IMHO ,he realises he has a problem and pulls to the grass in the vain hope of safety !!,thinking he can cut the corner then pit the car ,his not had enough flymo lessons to know that you speed up once on the green .

Respect for putting on line and not saying the camera broke on impact

Hold on. I don't know Norris Design but they sure have lots of publicity with the 700bhp Evo. First fastest Lancer in UK, two blown engines by the time they got it right (drag talk), and now the guy who is the tuner turn out to be also the driver!?! I sure expected a professional level but after making my comment "two amateurs slapped on a Lancer" turn out to be really amateurs, to which I guess it's forgiven as everybody has to start and learn somwhere. But the quote above made me fell from my chair....

So Norris is leaving the dream, he thinks we are jealous of his achievment, drives a lamborghini as daily driver, races fearless lancer evo, and he is just an amatuer? Guys, I think I already see the connection here.

"Norris knows best!"

And Kefe what is this thing about the curcuits being new to the UK. Isn't Britain the home of motorsport...come ooooon!
Can you imagine Norris taken in the rally scene with team mate Peter Solberg. I imagine the conversation being something funny like this:

Solberg - " What happened again? This is the 7th chassi we scrapped in two races. We are running out of cars and officials are not happy. Why don't I get any of the problems you have on our cars?"

Norris - " It's not me man, I swear I'm cursed with black magic or something. Last stage I experienced some understeer and I went trough that tree like I had slicks on during rain, then the hydraulic handbrake locked for two long, after that in Morroco my brake fluid boiled and no brakes. Oh yeah, and remember when hit Marcus to get out of my way and the intercooler bursted. Admit it Subaru just make shit cars and we are getting paid way too much to move this junk across the finish line."

Solberg - "I don't know what your problem with the cars is, despite I've watched your youtube videos, but we have one more subaru-ish chassi left and the next stage is Greece. And guess what.....you are driving it!!!"

Mean while Gronholm walks by and Norris cuts off Solberg:

Norris - "Hey Marcus, what tyres are you using, whats the weather like out there?"

Gronholm - " I don't know, I'm not a meteorologist! I need to drive to the medical center. Some stone went up in Timo's ass (hand gesture)"

p.s Bahahahaah sorry people I was borred and it had to be done

Who cares.

I`d drive an awesome car like that if i had the cash regardless of my driving skills and so would you all.

He crashed, big deal. I bet he paid for the other car because he`s a decent bloke.
