According to the copyright logo at the bottom the forum has been going since 2004 and there was a saying a while ago, "where were you in 2001" so i'm guessing somewhere between the two

I still LOVE drifting, LOVE the scene but HATE having no monies.

yep i also agree with Cookwibble, this is how it is for me too and its great!

Yeah the forum seems to have started mid 2004, I joined a few months after but I think the whole "gang" were together since 2001 and over the coming years they formed "team nightspirit" and then "driftworks". Success beyond their wildest dreams is now their's

In 2001 I was only 14, so my age is my excuse for not being with the cool kids back then

yeah, that sounds about right, but Nightspirit was before DW and still stands, as you can see on Bon's back screen here:

Nightspirit was definitely up and running in 2001, and the original members are my heroes (even if 2 of them had FWD at the time)

Paz EP82 arf arf. And the little blurb about hashirya, that was the first thing I ever saw of the UK drift scene, something about the code, respect for other roadusers etc. WTF happened to that?

Well rotorstock will be back on in August, the more props it gets the better, as the more popular it is gauged to be the more resources will be put to the drifting bit. Clive at MRC watches this site, and its him and the others from MRC that make it happen for us.

In 2004 driftworks filled a major hole that was evident from the popularity of the 'drifting' section on the SXOC

I used to get it all back on 01 (and a bit before that i think?) from JC, when he had that silver 32GTST etc etc.

Then once it actually got a bit more organised he used to try get me to come to Turweston in the Cossie, but I never did. Gay.

Had some mint videos from back then, ones way before Turweston was even used, but I lost them long ago

I've noticed a few members of Team Nightspirit have "Final-Stage.com" or something similar on thier sigs/cars. I used to have it on my old car. The website afaik never worked. Was this an abandoned project?

Always wanted to know...
