| where you battered shane lynch in exactly the same fashion. he got a nose in and you chose to transition right into him, as we were all told not to at the briefing , it's all about respecting you're fellow driver , or in some cases lack thereof |

| as jim said shane drove into mike... Mike has full respect of all drivers but he is out there to have fun if it means hitting a few skylines by accident while he does some great drifting im sure he will do it again. he doesnt go out there thinking i will smash you all. in every motorsport there is always a risk of crashing into something or someone its what makes it more interesting. a) Kieran was there sitting right next to me and we had an excellent view b) As an EDC Pro driver he is probably better qualified to comment than you are | |

| Keiren, I think you'll find Shane was on the outside of me, straight, behind my rear quarter, after crashing into me on the entry, so me initiating into him was his problem again. If people get in my way I am not scared, and I don't think (AFAIK) Shane felt I was wrong by it, we both had a great twin battle! If someone legally gets a nose past me then fair play I have to be humble to that and let them past, but otherwise no way am I pussying out of the challenge it's all part of the fun But yeah enough of the crap, I'm going to study some Jap vids and see how they go about it all to get more of a feel for what's "right" and "wrong". Bren I look forward to seeing more of his runs, the fact he is off the throttle for 50% of the straight when following me is hilarious and quite scary to be fair as I was flat out (apart from when I shifted 1st > 4th once - d'oh!). | Tim's no mug, infact he's an excellent driver, he's also not afraid to trade paint and apply pressure where needed so in a way I reckon he was somewhat underestimated as to his ability to do battle. A few people dont realise but the jest of 'don't crash' meant nothing, the EDC drivers are all super talented Drifters and have good good experience of Tsuiso so if anyone thinks they are afraid to damage their shiny cars when challenged - then those thinking that are sorely wrong. Of course they wont go out of their way to advertise the fact or be blase about rubbing etc., but remember they too have no fear, they leave that to others who think they do ![]() Anyway the V8 is an awesome additon and well done to Bren and the Apex boys for producing an awesome tool well worthy of doing the business. Rock and roll Silverstone - where the men are men and the boys runaway and hide ![]() Glen |

| If it meant nothing then why did Sleepy say "they look after eachother and are not 100% attack when in battles"? Just confused me afterwards as it made the EDC seem like a charade, maybe it was a misinterpretation. Either way I'm still going to swot up on JDM tyteness to see what normally happens as I'll be the first to admit I'm a n00b at twinning ![]() |

I don't see where kierans EDC license comes into this, the only qualifications you need are to not be blind and to be able to see the run upto turn 1 and turns 2&3. No You can't really accuse someone of having no respect for others when in reality he was only returning the favour. Maybe sychronised skating is for you. Damn this is fun | |

| Im not particularly bothered about panel damage, we have a great relationship with a very talented local lad just starting up, we throw the bits back at him, he fixes them and improves on them ![]() It seems that Tim was running on LESS lock that the standard set up as the longer bottom ball joints (to readjust roll centre after lowering the car a silly amount) were restricting lock to a large degree. Hes now got a decent amount of lock to play with, should be interesting in the next round ![]() Check out the car when its out by itself, it just needs more traction and youll see some real speed: Lots of lock We physically cant fit another pair of 6 pots behind the back wheels so are going to pull some Skylire R33 GTST rear calipers apart, have asome aluminium spacers made up and use those for the dedicated handbrake calipers. |
