It was most likely a completely seperate event that has nothing to do with street drifting, but they slip it in there to add drama

but as your daily drive is insured with all mods declared, taxed, MOTed and you are not going above the speed limit then you are going to be fine yeah?

i drive a high risk car, as does every skyline/200sx owner, i have been subject to attempted hijackings in my s14 and current car. as long as they are not arseholes im happy for the police to pull me over because next time it might be some thieving scum in the drivers seat

Not as if some of the stuff in essex was discrete though.

Haven't seen anything much going on for about 2 months now, I'm out of the 'cool loop' obviously!

I did see a white 3 door cossie getting pulled though, so maybe that was that "Operation Cruiser" in full effect?

I'll be willing to wager the cars involved were chavtastic FF corsas etc. The problem is chav pricks will always say "yeah innit we go out at night an drift innit" as it's the cool thing to say these days.
Living life a quarter mile at a time is just not cool for the mordern chav fannyboy. The media will of course lap it up. This kind of (mis)reporting was inevitable though. I'm surprised it didn't happen waaay sooner.

I hate to say it but the artical makes every bit of sense . I have done it I dint get caught or tell any one when or where I'll be doing it. Chavs will be Chavs tho be carfull and we are allright.

The practice of so called "Drifting

they aint saying it is drifting but what the drivers are calling drifting.

'Drifting' is a dangerous driving technique in which the driver sharply turns his car sideways

sort of not a nail head way of it but it is dangerous on the road

'Skidding', is caused when braking too hard, over-accelerating or when all four wheels drift or slide off course.

This is true they say skidding not in our terms as a nick name of drifting tho so they are right.
