| dorifto kingu! | Mate of mine got caught in essex last year in his cossie. Now banned from driving. Thing is, if you are one of the few to get caught. When it comes to court they are likely to give you the maximum penalty as a deterrent for others. Last edited by OrionRS : 05-06-2008 at 22:34. |

| Shh Cha Muhf ![]() | I don't see a problem here tbh. Theres huge groups of people driving dangerously, you can't have one law for people at are able to drift proper and another law for useless pricks- so we have to stick to the laws that keep the pricks from killing people. Seems reasonable to me. I wouldn't wanna drive anywhere if the police said 'meh street drifting is fine', because dickheads will crash into my car. |

| Chav spec yo | that whole article is utter horse shit. 'Drifting' is a dangerous driving technique in which the driver sharply turns his car sideways. The writer of the article clearly needs to re invent drift bible so we can all take note. understand the whole dangerous thing, but people cruisers endanger themselves being there. The sole reason why i lifestyle on my own |

| Shh Cha Muhf ![]() | Are they wrong though? Massive groups of young lads, most of them in crap cars, nearly crashing and being dickheads - Not much different from cruises. As far as the local law is concerned, that's what drifting is. Because that's what they've been told it is by the people that do it. |

| Shh Cha Muhf ![]() | I think people are missing the point. Yes the police say some stupid stuff, because they don't care about drifting - but it's there job to stop people getting dead! They aren't the bad people, the dumbprickss that show off infront of other dumbpricks and get noticed are the bad people. Answers simple: If you don't want articles like this to happen, stop being dickheads and either - a) Stick to the track b) Find proper roads that are empty and don't tell people that you go drifting there |

| I don't think they're wrong though! I don't want some cock in his new 200sx or whatever running over my dogs and cats or crashing into my mum cos they're too idle to get to a track day! Dangerous driving is dangerous driving full stop, I'm no angel but I genuinely disagre with drifting on the streests! The only sad part is it labels drifting as a sport as a bad thing with bad people! When two people race vectra's on the m6, they don't call it "Touring car racing" do they ![]() |
