Hate it with all my heart. I fully support track drifting, racing whatever...in controlled enviroment. I always liked it and will still like it, will do photography and enjoy every aspect of it. But I just can't stand those fu***** wankers flooring it on streets with traffic. Why? Main reason: Simply because one time I can be driving in my car, with my woman who is pregnant, through the same town at the same time as that idiot.... and he may lose control and slam into our car killing us. Or not even lose control...he will be simply going too fast to react. And there's no way that can be justified. Lowest score from me. Regards, M.

...street racing...will always be a thrill to someone... ...these guys are wild.... ...perspective of somebody getting hurt though...just not worth it... ...but there are some old ways of doing things safe on out-city twisties or ind. estates... |

Hey the BMW E46 CSL turbo or supercharged was also great. I say it's second best especially in one of those shots when it passed at high speed. It sounded like it had a straight through exhaust. Got to say this is a lot better than any of the Need For Speed games I've played. One thing I would like to see is camera for their pedal work. Also an opinion on what these people are doing on the streets, unlike Mr.Safe Marcin, I have to give them 100 out of 100. Forget that they are professionals. While some people would be worrying about their career and avoid this kind of stupidity, these boys live only once and it shows. They never back of the throttle or choose a second option so from watching the videos I reckon they are going all the way. It does get boring but it's just a long fast drive after all. It would be cool to learn from the video hence why I like to see foot camera and their steering work.

I don't understand how it's legally allowed to be sold though? Surely there's a law or two against it? Does it not encourage/propagate others to pull off similarly dangerous stunts? Does it mean I can go over there video myself and a mate going around in masks shooting junk, popping eccys, smacking folk up and raping the odd bird then sell it on DVD as "C*nto Does Stockholm 3"?

I hope you won't have to learn that the hard way. I hope none of us won't. There is place for everything fella and racing is for tracks. Mr. Safe Marcin

Ok Mr.Gwozdz, nothing against you just how I see it. "And I suppose you think it's right for them" - The world doesn't spin around me. What I think is right or wrong won't make any difference. I think it's wrong that she-males exists or people decided to be gay or emo just because it's the new modern thing. Like charity. "live only once" at my cost? Or yours? - Well I'm not happy how much tax I pay but I don't decide to go and sue the government. An odd example as I'm actually happy with the amount of tax I'm paying, but just following the crowd on this one. "I hope you won't have to learn that the hard way. I hope none of us won't." - I agree with you but I also remember what Stavros said a while ago in one of those crazy topics on driftworks. Something along the lines of....Nothing has changed, 100 years ago people use to find things the hard way, today despite all being labelled up the mongoloid will still go against his nature. I'm also the type of people who prefers knowledge based on experience rather than word from mouth. And yeah just like Pizzaboy commented, shouldn't there be a law releasing this type of material via DVD and copyrights label. I would too assume they'd try to spread it via cheap website or pirate CD, rather than a big "GIS" exhibition of the actual cars. Not knowing the drivers ID's is still a weak excuse for the police to come up with.

Thing is its ok for anyone to learn the hard way yeah...curbs,walls,barriers...but imagine somebody getting hurt because of what you do...somebody random, who dosn't have anything to do with racing or drifting...I wouldt forgive myself...if you got any common sense thats probably the way it feels... ...I m not saying I m not drifting on the streets....I am and I love it(ok maybe the curbs I dont)...always make sure the palce is safe tough...I m not saying its good...but sometimes I simply cant stop myself doing it...love it... ...deal is find a good quiet spot and use it...sounds fair doesnt it? Heard swedish ladies are class...perhabs not a bad pleace to live...a bit cold tough! |

IIRC They get away with it because of the laws in sweden, if you get caught speeding you HAVE to have been pulled over at the time, the police cannot prosecute you subsequent to the event no matter how much evidence there is, it must be a 'red handed' thing.
