Hey dude, Yep, i used to use the heaviest, dirtyiest commer gear oil i could fine (the exact spec is in the article) however the redline high impact gear oil is pretty bloody good too if i'm honest. I was just never prepaired to shell out for it because it's 3 times the price of the regular heavy duty stuff and it made little difference to the life of the box. The main benefit of the redline impact gear oil is it's viscosity (it's thinner) which means you don't need to worry about good lubrication from cold. You just get in and drive it. Where as the thick comma stuff you really need to let warm up a bit first. Diff oil is a tricky one, because some differentials really don't like using the wrong oil. Unless it NEEDS changing, don't bother (your pm box was full)
