How do all

Just been introduced to this site recently, will have a look about and hopefully have some fun! Went to the practice on the 23/12/04 in Bovington at the airfield and loved it (I was the dodgy looking guy in the kenny jacket by the track area).

Hi there,

My name's Tomas and been interested in drifting since i've bought my '93 RS13. The car still needs a little work done ( 'though it already looks like a drift bitch atm ) on the suspension but is a lot of fun playing around as she is. As for me, check the sig and you'll understand. Drift skills are at a low level, crapping myself is the best thing i've managed so far
hopefully i'll gain control over the car someday instead of the other way around

Top site btw

I joined this site to see exactly what you lot get up to, as im internding on going drifting next year!

I drive a Black 1986 AE86 and have done many trackdays, but im after a bit more of a laugh and trying to learn more car control when im out of control! haha!

Finally decided I'm going to have a go at sidewaysness this year so I thought I'd sign up on here I'm on various other forums so some of you might already know me anyway.

I'm into old Jap cars and tuning and currently have about 25 or so Nissans and Datsuns in various states of repair. I've been driving RWD cars for the last 18 years so the appeal of drifting is obvious. My main toys are a 1971 Datsun 510 which is my trackday car (and occasional drag car), S12 Silvia, Datsun 1200 coupe ...and soon as it's running again a CA turbo Nissan Prairie (known as the scary prairie). The Prairie should see some drag strip action this year (no, I'm not joking, honestly ) Also before this summer my '73 Datsun 1200 will be CA18DET powered for some 1/4 mile action. The 1200 only wieghs 725kg stock so it'll be pretty scary

The 510 currently has a KA24DE in it from a 240SX but I have an SR20DE from a JDM S14 waiting to go in. I keep it n/a as it's much more fun on the track than a turbo (especially in the wet). The KA that's in it is stock aside from induction but it has had the EGR and cat ditched. It runs a welded 3.7:1 R200 and stock KA gearbox with a quickshift. Front end has coilovers (350lb springs) and Tokico Illumina adjustables plus Ground Control camber/castor plates and Maddat Motorsoport ARB. Rear end uses old Mullholland springs (rate unknown) and OEM Nissan shocks from a Nissan Cedric with a Ground Control adjustable rear ARB. Front brakes are 280ZX and rear are stock-ish. It runs a cage, seats and OMP harnesses but until recently it was fully trimmed inside. I've started stripping it out now to get the wieght down though as it's currently just over 1000kg. The target is 950kg. The 510 is the one I'd like to have a crack at drifting in eventually. My 510...

Daily driver for now is an S12 I bought off ebay for £100. I chucked in a CA18DET with a T25G, aftermarket FMIC, H-dev stg2 chip, HKS dump pipe and custom made exhaust. It went okay until new years eve when I siezed the motor whilst flogging it mercilessly sideways New engine time shortly My S12...

I'm looking forward to attending a few drift events!

Cheers,
Eddie

Im Ed,and yet another Irish member to join the forum.I dont actually drive on the road at the moment (long story) but should be back rolling by the summer

Until then I console myself with my Yokomo 1/10 RC model of Taniguchi's D1 HKS S15 which is nearly as much fun as the real thing! Hope to have something RWD in the future, then Im away!

Hello

Hi, I'm Pete, a few of you will know me from the Skyline Owners Forum.

Thought I would give this drifting stuff a go and got myself a R32 GTSt to hack about in. Having quite a bit of fun in it but really need to sell it to repair my R34 which has a knackered gearbox

Anyway, HELLO!
