Yeah, well.

Ive applied for several Engineering apprenticeships now, should be hearing back from Rolls Royce soon, Dunlop aerospace etc.

Plan is I get my degree in engineering (Aero, since its kinda highly respected), then I can do what I want. Chances are ill end up having a few years back out in Japan, working for a tuning company.

I cant be arsed with school anymore thats for sure.

Yeah it was deffinately a great time at JUN. I do all my work on my Mini, and ill be helping out my dad rebuild his 3SGTE pretty soon. I love it all.

I must admit, I am a bit lazy though. But I can blame that on the teenager-ness right?

Hey there. I'd say definately go for the Rolls-Royce or Dunlop job. I'm an apprentice at Airbus in Broughton. At the moment I'm an Aircraft fitter, but I'm going on to do a National Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering soon, where I'm going to do my specialisation in either fluid power systems or aircraft electric and electronic systems. The money as an apprentice for Airbus and Rolls-Royce is good, not sure about Dunlop, but as soon as I finish my "time" the money is (as described by an ex-apprentice who did the same as I'm going to) hardon inducingly awesome. And he drives a Beemer M5 at the age of 24. Good luck bud and I'm so jelous of you're work experience!

Jim - Im hoping to get the Dunlop one, as I know that its very awesome, and its close to me. Rolls Royce Derby is 50mins drive... and I dont drive umph.

Ben - Yeah insurance is a right bummer Im gonna stick with the mini for a couple of years and hopefully get a hachi. Its all waiting eh.

Nick - Haha it may indeed be a sign of slight mental unstableness.

And Lionel (im not stalking, I looked at your profile heh), sounds like a good plan. I might give you a shout in 4 years time

Hello from Camaro Mike

Hi all,

I'm Mike Lacey from Alleyjax.co.uk

I'm a friend of James W (Driftybolox) and am slowly getting into drifting. I've helped out at the Bovingdon days as a marshall and I am now totally in love with sideways shenanigans! Just waiting for somebody to lend me a car so I can show them how to do it properly. That Rhyss Millen thinks he's the daddy...Step aside in your Pontiac! Poor Old Nit Thinks Its A Cadillac Chevvy Power Rules!

Just to let you know I'll be at Snetterton this weekend helping on the Doricar stand and will have my sexy ally racing jacks for sale! Bring some readies with you! £200 instead of RRP of £249.99 - Special drifters price!

If you want to see and hear my '67 Camaro check out my site HERE

Keep it sideways!

Mike

Hi all,

Just to let you know that Customs and Excise have take my trolley jacks into X-Ray so I'm not going to have them for Sunday unfortunately. I'll be bringing my Camaro and bike now though!

See you all there
