Hi and thank you! and yeah i know.. but im lucky with this, cos I have the engine in mint condition, and i used to manage a performance workshop over here that specialises in driftvehicles and is amazing, so i can get a good deal... I also have the drive train which helps and the owner is going to custom fabricate the sports clutch... as it is, even with discounts im staring down the barrel of around $10 000 but it will be well worth it.... besides, difficult and dear or not, think of the HORSES!!!! ![]()

Hello people, I (try to) drive an R33 GTST (sideways, but not through choice), and I really need to get this drifting thing down before I wrap it round a lamp post! So therefore I'm thinking about getting maybe an S14 200sx to have some fun with! Have seen a few for sale, but nothing really floating my boat as yet. Some of you might know me as DavenLou from SOC by the way. Maybe see you at Rockingham sunday!

Hi another newbie here. I registered a while ago but have never posted. I am wanting to start drifting using my Opel Monza. Any one know of any drift practice days in the North east, County Durham, North Yorkshire, Tyne & Wear areas?? I know of Teeside Autodrome but the link I have hasnt been updated since March so dont know if they have stopped doing it.

Hi! I'm Błażej (yeah, I know i have a funny name...) from Poland and owner of an '88 Mexico Bug, which I want to rebuild into a drift car (don't even say that's impossible!). My experience with drifting, so far, comes down to sliding my Bug on snow and ice (due to low horsepower) at a maximum speed of about 70-75kph. I also drive a FWD Audi 90, but that's not much fun compared do RWD (altough I can easily make it go sideways without using the handbrake . 'Hope to get a lot of useful info here and maybe meet some of you out on the track one day!

Hi all, I'm totally new to this too, having just been to Rockingham for round 1 of the D1GB. But what a great show Slideways on this forum introduced me to this weird and wonderful parallel universe, of Option DVDs and referring to cars by their chassis types ![]() ![]()

Hi all, my name is tommy, and i was shown driftworks by Pizzaboy. Currently drivin my old boys Vectra SRI, but only because my BMW 31(ahem)6 chewed its timing belt. Fear not, the plan was to replace the engine all along, and make the wildest tramp drifter ever, and showhorn a Rover V8into it. Once i iron out the technical issues, i'll roll the wagon once more. Progress reports coming!
