Hey everyone, Im Rob Stevens and im from kidderminster where i work for halfords in ripspeed. im also at uni in birmingham studying engineering. The yellow ripspeed car has been at our store for quite a while now after we picked it up from the kent store that originally built it. Its had quite a few changes to it since then mainly thanks to me but its in no way finished. Im not gonna lie i dont know a great deal about drifting but i DO know a lot about cars so all of this is a learning experience to me but im getting there. Went out with lex at santa pod this weekend and got a lot of feedback that we can hopefully put back into the car so thanks a lot to lex and all you guys there for being so supportive and hope to see you at a few practice days soon! any advice and support would be appreciated.

More new people Hi all, My name is chris and I'm one of three hapless Huddersfield based monkeys who are attempting to get into this drifting malarkey. Not sure if replying to this post is the proper way to say hey, or whether its supposed to be a new post in the forum, so, sorry if this is not quite right but here goes! We all own RWD jap motors outright, a UK S14a, a UK S13 and an imported FD RX7. We all wanted to drift, but non of us had the stones to put our pride and joy on the line with our massive lack of both talent or skill! So we went three's up on and old pre-facelift S13 which some how has ended up being affectionately known as 'the slag'!?! We chose this cos of its ease and relatively low cost to buy and tune (that and Loz, the lad with his own S13, had loads of bits we could scrounge!). Once I've got to grips with this whole forum thing I'll try and get a thread in the projects section with some pics of what we've managed to botch together so far. Anyway to the point, all three of us have milled and minced around the driftworks site for a while, abusing the vast amount of technical knowledge, and wishin we could buy any and every car that seems to appear in the powervehicles section! So we thought it about time we signed up and got involved!

Hey all. Nick Krul, currently in Melbourne, heading off to the UK at the end of the month. Love drifting, need practice. Only managed to get my car (R32 gts4 in rwd) to the track once - it was wet, at the end of the day I could link a few corners (just). Hoping I can get a car sorted out fairly soon after I get there & join in the fun.

I suppose it's about time i introduced my self. I've currently got a 200SX with a CA18DET with a spun bearing and buggered shocks, so the car feels like a giant jello. I'm in the process of buying a new house with a nice big garage, so i'll have plenty of space to work with. Ive already got most of what i need. I might get castrated for saying this, but i don't plan on drifting the car a lot, but i will be using it purely for the track as it is my second car. Anyway, the car is currently gutted with a T28 turbo, a single sabelt bucket seat and a sabelt 4 point harness, an OMP steering wheel, a short throw shifter, and front and rear strut braces. Lying in the boot of my car is a set of 18" Advan Kreuzers with hankook rubbers that i will eventually change out for something better. A massive FMIC with pipping, a straight through de-cat stainles exhaust system from turbo back, 5 lug hub conversion, a full set of re-built 300ZX brakes, rotors and SS lines, 440cc injectors, racing 4 puck clutch, racing superlight flywheel, various underbody braces, and a full compliment of gauges and wideband A/F meter. Now all i need is a Z32 MAF, HD stage 3 ECU,walbro fuel pump, a roll cage, coilovers, all the alignment goodies, sway bars, engine and tranny mounts, a big radiator, some sticky rubbers, and engine rebuild and some aero mods. Then i'm ready to go. (I hope) What do you think?
