| Hi all, I've been getting sideways for a few years now, and am just starting to show an interest in Drifting... Currently drive an MX5 1.8i with a few Jackson Racing mods, as well as a few other little treats ! Its a little underpowered but great fun in the wet ! Paul |

| New Guy Hello Im Jamie Iv'e been on the form for a little while now but only just started posting. I drive a 1.8 mx5 which is practically standard bar an exhaust but it still drifts nicely. Been to one track day in it and loved it. Im hoping to get loads of practice in this year to maybe take it up a level next year. ![]() |

listen... if i was you at your age and had the passion like i did at your age, i wouldn't wait for my driving license just to start driving, meaning you don't have to drive on the road to learn, (dont drive on the road though)..... every now and then you should try going out on track days to do go-karting or something with friends and others, to get a hang of and prefect steering/accelerating/breaking etc, general car controlling... trust me it wont take long before you know how to control a car of some kind like a go-kart or even a rear wheel drive car if yo daddy buys you one if ur lucky...! its easy to be honest at your age and enthusiasm to learn... by the time your 16/17ish you will be alot better and experienced then others and by time u get your license you will be untouchable.... the problem ......... might be finical and other support which some people are not lucky enough to have at you age, BUT if you can over come that, then you have the world open to you , you can even be a drift champion from Belgium later in life.....![]() Last edited by ait300 : 16-04-2008 at 15:35. | |

| gripper | Newb Hi new to driftworx after being dragged online kicking and screaming into the 21st centurCurrentley breaking my K-reg 200sx, ![]() Whilst holding off the RWD cravings with a Vauxhall Omega 2.0 16v (dont laugh!) it just has to be wet!Having trouble finding inspiration for a new project... I'd like something a little bit leftfield and unusual . any ideas guys??????? Whats peoples opinions on the Silvia S12 as a retro ride? and in general. Or BMW compact with the 323/325 straight six dropped in (easy) or another omega with more power? |

| I'm Dai I live in the middle of nowhere herd sheep and drink cheap, warm lager for a living. I joined here ages ago then bought a new crosser (sorry) came to my senses and realised that as a genuine porker a bit of rwd action was what i needed. Been following rallying for ages and got fed up of traipsing around in the cold when I should be in bed so here I am. Before you ask yes I'm welsh no I don't shag the sheep if I ever do I'll post some pics for you. |

| How do drifty folk? Hi, my name is Alex, i'm from lincoln. (ashamed to admit it but) i don't overly follow drift events at the moment (don't hurt me!) i just wants me some sideways action. Did have a tidy R33 GTST but binned it on black ice a couple of decembers ago. got a house now so i can't afford another skyline I really want to get in to drifting big time because, lets face it, it is big, it is clever and the chicks dig car control! )Been reading the forums for a while now but i decided it's time to post and meet and greet. Born slippy. |
