Hello all im new to driftworks and need some advice

Hello everyone im from northern ireland and im new here .....anyway enough of me.....im looking to get into drifiting and i dont want to start off in a bog seirra with a welded diff (no offence to anyone who has one)....I have been looking at the s13 200sx with the 1.8 turbo and the 180sx with the 2.0 turbo....im just wondering which one is easier to tune, more reliable....and so on.....Along with what parts would i need to start tuning it other that....exhaust, air intake, turbo, intercooler, oil cooler, coilovers, adjustable arms, uprated clutch

Welcome

The 180SX will have the SR20DET if it is the 2 litre. These are allegedly stronger than the CA18DET (1.8) in the UK S13.

Tuning wise, what you said with added colder spark plugs, and a boost controller should see you to a good figure. Add a mechanical or welded diff in and you'll be good to go
