hello

i'm not really a newbie but not been on here much, but the old omega gone so now i've gone and got a mazda rx7 converted to a rover v8 3500 sd1 engine and 5 speed box wit uprated suspension and uprated brake's. 17's and off cause a welded diff. i got it for two hurderd of ebay. just need to replace the the engine as the v8 in there blew. bit worried about the diff as ill be using it on the road once engine changed anyone using welded diffs on there motors. wat they like. also anyone from the bedfordshire area wit a rover v8 for sale. many thanks kev

If you use the search you'll find loads about welded diff , but the general train of thought is , if you don't drive like a bell end on the roads they are fine. My diff is welded on my daily driver and its been fine for like 8000 miles....

cheers m8 everyone round this way view is no you cant use it on the road road its to unsafe etc, and none of my m8s have driven wit welded diffs so just needed some views from sumone who has.
