What are some good Suspension and brakes?

I just bought a s13 and I was wondering what would be some good brakes. I'm not looking for the best just some good brakes because the brakes in my car are not that good. I was also wondering what would be a good suspension like coilovers I heard tiens are good and the stance gr+ any others that you can think of which are affordable?

I think you should buy green brakes/suspension, they are always the bestest.

Oh, your poll is about something else.

I'd leave brakes standard and just keep them in good nick, maybe get some harsher handbrake shoes if they do them.

As for suspension, you won't get much better value than the Driftworks coilovers. They are REALLY good quality, and for a decent price, too! I've heard bad things, and seen bad facial expressions, when K-sport are mentioned.

r32 calipers are a good upgrade for s13 at a reasonable cost. Not that drifting is very hard on brakes anyhow so maybe best to spend the money elsewhere.
Most people say bad things about D2 coilovers, they are cheaply made in Taiwan or somewhere similar. I've got Teins just now and they are much much better than the Apex I had before, but they are also a lot more expensive. The driftworks ones seem to get lots of good reviews as well and are priced nicely inbetween.

What about the stance gr+? Are they any good? I'm thinking of buying them.

Trust me guys, The coilovers Driftworks sell wipe the floor with these other brands, D2 and k-sport are so hard and pointless for drifing, you want to get around the track .. and stay on it get Driftworks, fit it too all my customers cars and i get plenty of good feed back, many people remove d2/k-sport in favor of these driftworks shocks and they can tell you for themself when they see this thread at how much better they are.

Clarkey.

p.s step one, call driftworks, step two, pay for coilovers, step three, do a skid.

Yep, Ian G's skyline feels great, it's got the DW coilovers on and they are adjustable anyway but run nice and firm without being too hard or too soft, they are great to drive on.
