Complete n00b... hopefully bought an rx7 fc today!

Hey folks,

Im Chris, 25 from Macclesfield. I've got a JDM 350z which i've had for a couple of years now, but i took it to an Oulton Park drift day in April - and now im hooked.

Rather than bend my zed though, i've splashed out with a couple of mates and we've bought an RX7 FC. We're booked onto OP again on July 25th with Trackaction, but we're definitely up for any other local events... just seen the info on the buxton location.

So, looking forward to picking the new motor up, and meeting some of you on track.

Here's my zed - and pics of my rex to follow when i pick it up:

Old wheels - sold them as they handled like SH!T.

Alright Ste.

Yes the rex is sweet! We spent all day sunday working on it - used a buffer and neatened up the paint, and i resprayed the rear hatch in black as it had worn out.

This weekend we're stripping the wheels and respraying them gun metal!

Drifiting wise... we've not even attempted it yet as we cant think of anywhere and we're not insured - so looking forward to OP in 2 weeks so we can give it some!
