At the time, I hated being alive. But looking back, what a fucking awesome thing to do! I passed my driving test literally a few weeks prior, drove a Sierra twincam to teesside, drifted it (badly), then ventured to crail and continued. With no heater, no nothing. Without a second thought. One to tell the grandchildren.

    Its making me feel old.

Cocks TR8 Rally car that was the loudest thing on the planet, Bon singlehandedly reviving the E28 BMW, Polo hitting something on every single driftday he went to, being able to choose an entire row, never mind a seat in the BRDC stand at Silverstone, the Option D1 team of Brett, Non, Champ, Kit and occasionally Kiki and Manish who were streets ahead of everyone else, no-one using the wand or extra lock cos they hadnt been invented then innit.

If you are PROPER oldschool you should be able to remember what colour the Option boys cars were I reckon

FFS, I was going to say it wasnt JCs, it was Ross's brother, but he beat me to it.

I remember when JC was working for Option, who were over Silverstone way. I went there to buy some R32 GTR clear indicators, and saw my first ever Jap mags. They were amazing, tho they were backwards, which span me out a bit.

Being able to buy 2 x s13 200sx's for £70 Sold one on for £100 and felt i was ripping the guy off a bit!

Meeting crazy ant at trax in donnington to buy a diff and approaching Phil at the tiny dw stand if they knew him! He was the guy standing next to phil....

Wanting kiki's white S13 more than anything in the world.

Some guy in a Red e30 touring Drive very antisocially all round the silverstone carparks like a total dick after the drift comp and wrecking the Public image of uk drifting in around 34 seconds.

Rotorstock drifting at Shakespere county raceway. Seeing nick beast that piece of shit celica supra and dave walbrin sliding a really tasty looking old 1970's datsun laurel with just a welded diff.. That car would be worth £££££ now

Paz manjii-ing and dirt dropping like a maniac into the first corner of the Teeside small track, I decided at that moment I had to have an AE86.

    So I bought an MX5.

Brett - red S14a (easy one)
Non - red S15 (an S15! FFS they were like new or something!! )
    Kit - green S14/a
Champ - also green S14/a ? Hazy on that one
Kiki - every car in the world, including a lush NSX, Gallardo when it was new, 180 and S15
Manish I think had a red 14a as well but am probably wrong about that one.

Anyone remember the amazing Lotus Eclat ?

Manish's was Damsen.. lol. Non had a dark met green S13 with 45k on the clock, and Bretts first S13 was white, turned into a replica of Kiki's.. Top secret aero.. Savage!

Thanks for the few shoutouts guys, brings back good memories, good thread to read!

Randoms off the top of my head... Fredrick Sorlie, that rally driver dude crashing the Ford buggy thing in the silverstone pit wall, Brother Will, Kits brother nearly rolling his S13 at Curborough, Cockney Alex and Monkey Steve, D1GB Driver Search and the annual invasion of Trax, me and Julian Smith had a right rip one year, my trueno and his S14 powered E30..

    Top thread.

I ran a drift day in the south west, Clay Pigeon race track or something, and Polo didn't just hit a wall, he went clean through it.

That took some work with the owner of the track.
