    Hi....was looking if any toyota guys have any advice on turboing a Yaris t-sport...

    My girlfriends had the car for about 4 years now and has pretty much done everything possible to it ....and now shes getting a bit tired of it and wants more oooooomph...so i suggested she turbo's it....

    Ive seen ONE glanza engine swap that looked pretty good but the guy never went into detail about the work involved...

    If anyone has any adivce?......Toyota specialists that offer a turbo conversion?......easiest engine swaps?

    Any info appreciated

    Tuning developments have built a few with 4EFTE engines (Starlet)

    My mate turbo'd his standard engine, ct9 off a starlet with custom mani, emanage blue ecu etc but never really got it running tidy so put it back to n/a.

    Another option is the Vitz (JDM Yaris) which are 1.5 turbo standard, dont see many of these but possibly might find an engine and loom and all the conversion bits on jap auctions etc.

    Other than that supercharge it may be a better option, seen a few on youtube.

    I have owned a Starlet and tbh you will want a forged engine, I blew 3 engines up but I was pushing the limits of stock internals, about 270hp

    Hey fella, I've actually got a t-sport P1 with turbo setup =)
    to let you know its awesome! wiped the floor with a fully built na yaris about 5 years ago before it was mapped, but its currently sat in my garage needing some love as I discovered drifting and kinda got distracted!
    If you need any advice on turboing the car, and what to do what best options are etc I'd be more than happy to help and even do the build for you to what ever spec you wanted, 150hp to 400+ depending on budget ;)

    For ease though i'd go for SC if its for the mrs and you want more power with minimal hassle! you can boost the stock engine to 150bhp on a twin scroll charger on totaly stock engine and never have a problem!

    The toyota t-sport turbo that was only sold in very few countries was 150bhp on the same untouched engine from the factory, and TTE used to sell a super charger kit fitted by TTE over in europe with full toyota warranty.

    Either way give me a shout on pm and we can chat and discuss. I have links for everything and loads of info... and a company building "fun" cars ;)

    Brad =)

    ...oh yeah and just for thought... I measured up something interesting a while ago... the yaris p1/2 is an inch narrower than an early scooby and about 6 inches shorter...

    and the chassis rails are the same width apart! so yeah I have worked out the basics of fitting full scooby running gear into a yaris! just need the cash or customer brave enough to try it.

    Brad =)

    Im from sheffield n have a yaris sr with a tsport engine and gearbox n other bits. Just bought a jimzee supercharger for it n just saving for a standalone ecu before i can get it on. Where abouts in doncaster are u two? I only live in sheffield. There are parts available for the tsport but u have to get lucky or pay alot for them

    U can buy jun cams for the tsport but they are pricey n need a standalone ecu to run them without problems. Can get custom exhaust systems n intakes which free up a afew horses
