What's the best V8 then? Best power, torque, accessibility, design, Reliability, durability, weight.

Just seeing what people think? :)

I think the 4.0 S65 or 5.0 S62 are probably more highly regarded than the 4.4... If you're reviewing in terms of accessibility alone then maybe but I think the 4.4 would lose in most of the OP's other categories!

My favourite is probably a JUDD engine, so sick. Best V8 though? Depends what it's being used for!

Best V8 for what? Swap? in general? Racing? Street? Charged or not?

A good and often swapped engine is the LS3 (Corvette) for example.
BMW has good V8's, especially the S65.
But one of the best is probably an AMG 6.2 I guess.

Had a KV4 in one of our Hillclimb single seaters, stonking bit of kit. 700hp. But at 60grand for the engine and box it would need to be good!!
