I'm putting my ps13 up for sale very soon, but the dilemma I face is that I haven't got it insured or taxed as I can't afford to insure it and a 328. Any advice on what to do? I know people will be reluctant to buy if they can't test drive. Especially a car like this. Any ideas are very much welcomed :-D

anyone with trade insurance can drive it

anyone who says there policy covers them to drive any other car is wrong - that car would have to have basic 3rd party insurance for them to be covered.

either private road or no test drive..

pm me details on the ps plz :p

that's not strictly true , it's insurer dependent. policy wording dictates whether basic 3rd party cover is required

The person test driving the car would need thier own insurance.

If your insured or not wont make a difference just mean you cant drive it

I thought most insurers with the "Drive other vehicles" clause state that the vehicle must also be insured by the owner.

I thought you have to be fully comp but to drive someone else's car it only covers third party

The issue is, some insurances wont cover a person to drive another car unless someone else is insured, fully comp or not. Most in fact.
    Some do though.

So basically, need to check, or risk letting fuckers crash your car without insurance.

You might also want to check the clauses about being the registered owner if someone is driving uninsured or without correct insurance, because you will get fucked for it.
