Garage recommendations

    Anyone recommend a garage to change the turbos on an SL600 ?

    Spoke to Mercedes but they will only do it if I buy the turbos from them ( at £1500 each) and say they must remove the engine to do so ( already checked forums and it can be done in situ) and want to charge a fucking fortune !

    Prefer somewhere in the NW ( work in Yeovil) but suppose I can get the car transported.

    i would recommend Chizfab Automotive Fabrication services in Fife, Scotland. They've just finished a particularly impressive custom exhaust manufacture and turbo replacement on an older 911 turbo, with an owner facing a similar problem to yourself.

    if you want it done near yeovil pm me, i got a good mechanic who is only £30 p/h. currently building a 370z powered s15.
