Hey i know this properly be covered alot over the years I just got a bill from TNT saying I owe them 30.20 here the break down item cost me £61 £0.00 import duty £12.20 vat type(sales tax) £15.00 deferment process fee + £3vat on that Total 30.20 I don't mind paying £12.20 as that standard vat for the item however the £18 for there fee I do mind paying for only due to them already being paid for there service from the saler Any advice be helpful
I looked up how much TNT charge to deliver item same everything it worked out to be 860-1050 hkd which work out to be £75-95 pound so they got more then enough money from the ppl who sent the item as it looks like they ain't made any money spent more on sending it
I'm fairly sure the last parcel force fee's I paid was about 6 or 8 quid, on 20 quid of duty. Asking more for the fee than the actual duty is taking the mick IMO.
That what I thought it takes the piss more then anything as I though great spent the less money on a auction bid then buy now price only to be stung for another £30 take the piss to much
