So it's a long ish story, but...

I have a *MANUAL* BMW 740 V8 LHD Spanish vehicle that's never been registered in the UK. I think it's an 89 maybe newer.

In my eyes it's only a parts/track vehicle

It's not pretty, but it runs like a dream and i would assume a BMW V8 lump with manual transmission etc would be an ideal donor vehicle for someone. But it's no good for what i want due to being lazy and short on space.

If I stick it up in the For Sale section what's it worth, any ideas ?

Yea about there, maybe take 500 if someone offers it.

If you can find an owners club you might get some interest there, the manual box is quite a plus point but finding any use for the rest of the car is probably quite a hassle.

    A 740 is 1992 or newer.
I'm pretty sure you couldn't get them with a manual transmission. Is it a 5 or a 6-speed? I noticed they often swap the cheaper (and not nearly as strong) 5-speed in 540/740's.
A 540 was available with the good 6-speed.

They were offered with manual gearboxes in Europe. Still rare though. E38s are 1994 and newer. 94-96 will be the M40 4.0, 96-99 will be the M62 4.4 cable throttle and anything newer is fly by wire.

Turns out it was a 1994 after a bit more investigation. However is now gone to a guy who is pulling it apart to dump in an E36.
