| Enjoy Drifting We want to encourage everyone to enjoy drifting, the day is about getting onto a circuit and having a go at it. The competition itself can be entered by anyone, novice or 'D1 Hero', if you make it through the qualifiying then your good enough for us! Note: 1 piece of advice we have been given is that should you be a complete novice, get in touch and we may be able to arrange some practise & free tuition the day before the event. We are keen to get as much track time for everyone entering the competition as possible - constant spins/crashes can slow this down |

| Im defo interested in this!! But i would need the day before to practice, as im a complete novive!! Not much point in me just going down to try out as, i'd probably just get the 2 practice runs, and 2 judged runs and i'd dare say i'd be out!! LOL Do you kind of know who the top D1 judges will be??? Just out of curosity!! DO THE CARS TAKING PART NEED TO HAVE ROLL CAGES??? Or are you ok to compete without one, but not allowed through to the top 16 even if you did qualify?? | Safety & Marshalls Cages will not be required, however Helmets are mandatory and any other such safety rules as Lydd see fit to impose. They are a sensible circuit and have a good safety record so I'm sure they will see us all home safe. I would ask the judges & head scutineer (Raef) to have a brief inspection of all vehicles, prior to them going on the track. The usual rules apply, no dripping fluids or insecure parts. Safety Marshalls will be in place throughout the day, all competitors must follow the instructions of the Marshalls, there will be NO exceptions. Should any volunteers be available on the day to help marshall please PM us. |
