Hi I'm dodgy Barry. Not competed but was at the only ever DC in the red e28 m535i and have run (and drifted at) 8ish TDSW practice days. Tag me as you feel fit or not

Yea I did that initially, just wasn't sure on the driver one in the same font as the DW staff one.. I'll do it anyway and see the comments.

At this rate everyone is gonna have a "Driver" tag. Anyone who has done 2 skids will add their name to the list.
How do you differentiate between skilled drifters and people who have done a skid day?

Yes there is, but as this is an extremely difficult area to deem who deserves it, so we'll have a blanket rule of it only being applied to those events that we've personally been to, and that we think are an asset to drifting (i.e. run very professionally) Otherwise we'll get the likes of Billy who once invited his mates to a carpark in Bulgaria to skid, thinking they deserve that tag.

That's why we request that people are honest when applying. It's not like I can individually asses every single members abilities.
I think your missing the point of it a little. The reason we decided to do it, was to show who is actually worth listening too when reading technical posts for instance, as I'm fed up of reading complete bollox written by 15 year olds that have never drifted.. Obviously you think your better than the majority of people classified as a driver, and for all I know you probably are, but if it bothers you that much, just work harder to become a pro

lol Man dont say that! I do not think I am better than the majority of people

I have noticed 1 or 2 names (Not gonna mention who) who could fall into the category of a "Roundabout Queen".

But it doesnt matter. Sorry if it was a stupid post.

Well this is where we do need your help . We don't know the majority of Am to Pro Am drivers anymore, as there's so many of you. So if you genuinely think that someone doesn't belong in the group, let me know why and I'll look into it

Um.... the first post phil put up did state to a competent level if people can vouch for you.. I have not competed as my car hasnt been to spec and i wanted more seat time.

..not everyone who doesnt compete is a 'roundabout queen' although most people on here have a much higher ratio of S1 to track day. Sorry but its true.

your comments sound very elitist baba. personally I'm aiming to compete next year and spending alot of money to do so. Not everyone can afford to just throw cash in and compete instantly. No series sunstrip doesnt mean your not a driver... Retrodan prooved that by flattening most of the seasoned drivers at chepstow.

sorry for rant but i took that personally, as i do alot of shopping.

LOL Why did I have a feeling you would take it personally. I have never seen you drift so I cant comment. You could be better than me by miles.
I have seen Retrodan drift and he kicks ass!!!
