Yup, passengers are fine. Spectators have to pay spectator fee (for insurance purposes), but you can give rides if you want, and others will be up for it too.

Fairy snuff, I'd reccomend shredding them then getting the replacements fitted, and getting them balanced when you get back then.

does the car have to have tax and mot
and can you do it in a standard car - For my mates s13..
