| well if it is 60 per driver, not car. then thats the greedy pod thats got rid of another of its potential customers with their high prices for a drift day that isnt that great anyway. i mean a pod driftday is hardly teeside or tdw is it? certainly not £120 worth of driftday........ a company that doesnt listen to everyone of its customer is soon to be a company without customers........ coupled to the £100 of fuel required to get there and back + £120 for both of us = us not there. your choice pod....... £80 for the two of us and a classic bm........ or nothing.......... |

| me, i find i have a passion for drifting, i just dont see the pod having that passion. just want to make as much money as possible out of the fact driftdays in the midlands are few and far between. and im not entertaining that......... ![]() there is no reason to charge us twice, but it is the reason im not coming to anymore pod days at that price. ![]() |

| £60 is a fair price, although if you are 2 people sharing a car I can't see why it should be twice as much unless you can somehow make the same car be in 2 different places in the queue at the same time? Moaning about petrol/track costs is pretty much pointless though as if you don't like it then don't go. You should be happy that there are various practice venues across the country at reasonable prices, not moaning that it ends up costing you £xxx to do a drift day. |

| ChickFoot FTW ![]() | Santa Pod and Lex do listen to the customers, this is reflected by the increase of cars and space given to us at pod over the last 5 months, it means a lot less people are going to be let down by it being booked up all the time and at the end of the day Santa Pod are a business and they don't have to let us have DWYB's there. |

plus if i buy two tickets...... isnt that taking up another 1 persons place who has their own car??? by pointing out that it will cost me x, y and z. i was meerly saying how it makes an already expencive day for us into an even more expencive day. i look for value for money in everything, its a habbit of mine. when i dont see it, i make noises to to that effect......... its all very well saying "you dont like it dont go" but i do want to come and have a laugh drifting the car weve been purpose building the last 3 months. just dont want to pay twice for something, to be fair, we shouldnt need to. | For most people who drive there own car all day it makes no odds, but i do think its a bit much to ask people who are sharing a car to pay £60 each when there are only getting £30 worth of drifting compared with other people. maybe the extra money can be used to smooth the couple of bumps and pot holes out lol |

| im not going get dragged down by loads of negative comments cos im still on in such a good mood from the weekend ![]() i will lay down the law again ![]() £60 per driver. we have had to remove the offer of extra signed on driver as we may exceed the number of drivers allowed by the insurance men This is a commercial decision by santa pod management. They are a business. They exist to make a profit. If drifting is not profitable and generates enough income to justify itself it will not go ahead ![]() Pod managemnt regualrly check for feedback - moaning about a £1 booking fee reinforce perception that drifers are pikey muppets skidding sheds in car parks ![]() I honestly believe that we offer a good value for money drift practice session with all the facilities provided on to ensure as much seat time as you can manage If drifting proves a financial success maybe we will be able to convince them to build a dedicated track for us to have fun on ![]() |

| If you think that the cheapest venue available for the cheapest motorsport in the world is a ripoff then you might as well give up now. To stop this post being completely pointless, in case anyone missed my earlier post, is there anyone coming from/via milton keynes who would be able to bring a couple of wheels along for me? Please for to be PMing me if this is so. |

3 yrs later there is enough space for 3 DWYB tracks and newbie play pens Maybe you guys should come along as spectators to see if its look like fun instead of moaning on the net here how much fun we had last week Drifting in HD - Pro level @ Santa Pod DWYB, March 08 on Vimeo some of us were even listening to DnB while we skidded, cos Bon does that and he is like well good so it must help | |
