well a full weekend skidding round brawdy airfield for miles in either direction, with no one counting every lap you do, then getting pished as a fart on free beer, all for £100 in total, for 3 of us having a go in my touring has kind of made me appreciate a good value driftday. and they even had a burger van for 2 days solid!

no offence meant, but can you stop moaning! It's not really getting you anywhere and just spamming this thread so its harder to see whos going and whos not. If you don't wanna pay it, dont.

of course you had your own tyre man all weekend

and a stack of rubber

and toilets

and a warm cafe

and shop selling fags

and were insured

Here is your solution - start promoting your own drift events at brawdy then and stop being negative about mine cos really am doing my best and your just killing my excitment from the best weekends skidding in the world ever

i came in my touring in jan. was £50 then, was ok. enjoyed myself. i just cant do spectator stuff when i could be joining in.
like i said we will probably coming in may, but 120 is taking the pee.
if your slowly building up the space at the pod for drifting then thats good.
so whats changed with the dwyb since jan that might convince me 120 is good value?? burger van insted of dry sandwiches?

I think you need to think about what you've been saying mate, you've obviously been happy with paying your 50/60 quid plus twenty for another driver. Making it 70/80 quid between the two of you. Yet everyone else is prepared to pay 60 quid each and have no problem with it.

So you share a car with your mate, thats not our fault. Get another car.

Convince you 120 quid is good value for two people, mmm....fully booked!!

Oh and food costs extra no matter what or where it comes from.

Regards,

Steve - i'm a nobody, don't listen to me.

Start earlier

More tracks

More newbie space

More Tyres available

Dedicated pit area so queues flow smoother

Sue cafe opens up from 10 so there is somewhere warm to sit and we all love her bacon butties

simple join the fun or dont - i want to them to build more drift space and your £120 will help

LOL at steve

buy another car, why didnt i think of that??? the idea of having one car between us is to half the cost not double it you dunce!
everyone buys petrol at £1.10 a litre does that mean its a good value price? must be everyone still buys it........
i just dont have disposable cash like many of you guys. i shop at asda not marks+sparks.
£120 is alot of money to me.
i dont like being priced out of things.
i appreciate you saying that my £120 will help you move this at the pod forward.
will be there in may.
ill stop spamming the thread and go to bed.

Well I've just finished work..so another step closer to maybe attending...

Murran..no offence mate-but I really don't see the need for personal digs-I wouldn't be too surprised if your not welcome!

At the end of the day, rules are rules-stick to them, go skidding, stay safe, have fun!

Hi Steve! Nice to see you online

i have no money what so ever, and still somehow have be managing to go for the past few months. (sell yourself it works) I think its better if one of you goes one month and the other one goes the next and that way you get the whole days to yourself.

60 quid each is definatley fair, last time i was there i saw an s13 anda ae86 that both had two drivers and its a bit annoying when theres a long que and the guys in front get waved off and just switch seats and go again. paying each is fair. i'm looking forward to it

Before you go criticising Murran for being a skint tight-arse, go and learn how to spell and use your grammar properly. Its really frustrating reading your posts, and the more you do it, the better you'll be, it'll keep you from bad habits.

I can understand where he's coming from, he and a friend have built a drift car between them so that it'll cost them less and they could afford to run a better car. I'd be frustrated with the whole £60 each despite only getting one persons seat time between them thing too. But rules are rules.

Best suggestion I've seen so far is to have the car each, each month, taking it in turns.

I love steve... He smiles alot, changes tyres good and has a car as useful as mine.

I dont love Murran... I winges like a lesbian, will blame dwyb peeps for not being a skid god when he does turn up like before and not listen to anyone trying to help.

I'm bored...

i winge like a lesbian?

now thats funny!

when i came in jan, i was accused on here of "bein crap" and "hooning around in a boggo touring", which i was quite amused at, being that its a beginners day.....
i thought i did quite well in a standard car with an open diff! bar polybushed back end and set of bilstein shocks.
me and my mate have built this e21 for this sort of thing. and its shit hot with more than enough power and predictable in how it skids. so im sure itll be a damn site easier to drift than a boggo 320i touring!
i see something i dont like/dont think is fair....... i moan about it! its not done me any harm in the past. and ill stick up for moaning everytime!
id rather not talk to comic ponces who think im a lesbian anyway.......
