Murran, if you don`t like it don`t come.

You were a pain in the arse last time you came so its no big loss. You moaned about everything. You held up the big track driving a shite car with an open diff and span three times a lap and moaned when you got asked to come of track cause you were taking ages.

Plenty of people to fill your place and who are happy with the pod days.

Because you were on the big track, spinning tree times a lap in a stupidly spec`d car. You shouldn`t have been aloud on there really so moaning about being taken off was just ghey.

And i`m not pro but i shit all over you.

can you change a cambelt + waterpump on an 225 audi tt quattro in 45 mins or a clutch on one in 2.5 hours? no. point made on the more practice makes you better at things thing........

it still a beginners day, beginners dont have prepped cars. and you wouldnt go building a prepped car before you know whether you will like it or not.

jan was me finding out whether i liked it or not. and i do. so me and my mate have prepped a car together.
so on to the me getting better through more practice thing.............

But the main track isn`t for begginers who can`t do the other tracks even though its called a beginners day, your ment to work your way up from the dounut and fig 8 tracks. Granted you paid you money you can choose your track but you were learning nothing. Then you got a cob on like you were some kind of drift hero. If a marshal tells you to get off track you do, regardless, thats why we`re there. You wouldn`t moan at any other type of track day.

Anyways, the point is your moaning makes you look stupid and like winey little girl. One or two posts fair enough, but you won`t change whats a successful practice day. Its as simple as chosing to go or not, choose with your money.

i work in a german car vag specialist garage for bout 7 years, currently senior mech and mot tester.......
when youve done the same job maybe 300-400 times you learn how to do it damn quickly! i must do a tt cambelt on average 3 times a week! bout 2 months ago i did 3 in one day!
as a mechanic, you do things faster, you get paid more through bonuses, as the book time of 2.2 hours still stands to the customer........ i get a percentage of the labour charged, minus the actual time im clocked on the job!!!!

As i have said before, this isn't a topic about if your a mechanic or not, its about dwyb day, if your going, add your name to the list, if your not, dont.

Stop spamming the bloody thread as it makes valuable information harder to find and no one's interesting in how fast you can change a cam belt!!

my car was holding me back to be fair..... its my daily and it has to be versatile, comfy to drive, hammered over speed humps, pull car trailers, drive my two little boys to nursery, drive over grass verges, run over nuns, pull my uncles caravan etc....... so stripping it out, dropping it on its arse, and welding the diff on it. would be pretty stoopid really concidering.

dohnutting area? great, ive done a dohnut, next.........

as i said weve purpose built a car, so no more hooning about, cant promise i wont spin it tho.
will be looking for tips tho if im struggling. as i wont be ashamed to have a fellow drifter drive it! unlike my touring!

What kind of idiot goes on the big track if they not capable of pissing over the smaller tracks? Makes no sense. And deffo shouldnt be allowed.
Even the nailing the playpens is a lot more than spinning on your own axis with your foot nailed.

Im properly struggling to get my car ready, esp as away all this weekend, but ill be there if it kills me. And it may.

Comic ponce?! Woooo!

Practise Murran, you didnt leave school and where thrown onto TT cambelts, you started with oil changes with a acme spanner set.

Seat time, the best people learn more by listening to those that know and accepting the learning curve. Oh and by not moaning about the price. Id like to see an F1 race one day, but will not pay that kind of money on tickets, so I'll accept it and watch the telly.

Easy as that.
