let me defuse ,Lightning aint aware that the arena is open thurs night for drinks and scalextric ,he thinks you want to turn up get pissed and diff ,i see the funny side as i went there once on a thurs night to see it for myself ....the scalextric rocks,i see both sides ....lol

all cool cool and the bar does not open on drifty oval praccy but the radio can be played on the tannoy ..

for peeps who have not a clue what the scalextric means...on a thursday evening the bar opens at essex arena and banger racers drinking pints and slot car racing happens (TRACK SHUT ,SOCIAL),its quite nostalgic and the history of the arena is very well portraid with photographs of the late great 'chick woodruff' who pioneered the track forging it from a old pit or reservoir circa 1950 in what now is the centre of Lakeside shopping centre ..!

thanks k... my car has just been getting poorer and poorer lately!! and it doesnt help that i travel allot in it!! so like so sittingbourne and back to southend! to lydd and back, romford,guildford allsorts lol
