Hi all,

Got the green light from Pod to test running DWYB on a saturday - if you lot behave and pod make enough money then it could become a regular thing



Details would be very similar to regular DWYB beginners days:




1 x Large Main DWYB Track

2 x 'Kidney' DWYB Demo Tracks

2 x Newbie play pens for fig 8s, donut etc


50 cars maximum

Marshalled

Gates open from 8.30am to 5pm with drifting from 9.30am to 4.30pm - no lunch break

No Noise restriction

Twinning

Tyre changing £5 per rim + £2 disposal if needed

'Drift Rubber' will be on sale from £5 per tyre

There are toilet facilities on site

Sue's Cafe will be open from 10am til 3pm

Booking : £60 per driver direct with Santa Pod




If you would be interested in skidding at pod on a Sat add you name and roughly how many practice days you have attended - 1 night S1 = 1/4 practice day

Depending on response we may look at doing separate Beginners and Interemedite days so please be honest no one cares if you S1 for england or have never been to a practice day - just what as as accurate picture as possible of who a day like this appeals to


Once i got enough numbers from serious regular drivers i will get a firm date from Pod

Ive only done two pod days but as you know i have bdc to pay for so pod days in the week are hard as i need to earn monies!!!

So how would this work.... every week or once a month. Do Pod have many shows on the weekend.

Wednesdays are difficult for me cos i have to go college all day.

Ive only done two official DWYB plus a few demo's a while back.

Stavros- 2x DWYB and 2x Million S1 days where I learnt less than you can in about half a day at the pod, lol.

Id be totally up for this, SO much easier to get there on a sat, much better than even a sun as ill be too mashed still from night before on a sun.
