really. well i find that incredible! even more incredible than the story you gave last time, that youd changed your number.

im not going to go on and make a big thing about it, you obviously changed your mind or whatever, thats fair enough, people do and have the right to.

but seriously mate, dont take me for a fooking mug, dont want to hear any of this "oh i didnt get any text" thats the kind of shit youd expect a stalker ex one night stand to believe... and that, i am not!

nothing more to say. end.

EXTREME lack of internet has meant I haven't been able to get on here and sort everything out

Sorry guys. Even the blackberry is fooked

Essentially, I wanted to make an initial list of the guys who don't let me down, as I know they are reliable.

You guys seem to have sorted that out between yourselves. And looking at the list, it would have been those people on it anyway that I was going to invite.

Please be aware, there will be 5 spots allocated for complete beginners. We'll be doing tuition for those guys on the day free.

I don't know when i'll be able to get back on here in the next couple of days, so continue filling the list out as and when. Don't forget max is 25 please state when putting your name down if you are a beginner and want the tuition.

Please can everyone quote my post as an answer to questions, or even if someone can be bothered, to quote my initial post from another Lydd post stating the rules and regs, fire extinguisher, overalls/racesuit, helmet, secure seatbelts/harnesses.

Islander. Approx 25 people come to these days. If I had to chase everyone by dialling their mobiles to make sure they were/weren't coming, i'd be constantly on the phone. The fact that I never called you, is no excuse. Everyone else managed it.

Feel free to put yourself on the reserves list though

New regulations for the practice days are as follows:

Helmet (as usual)
In-car fire extinguisher (hand held acceptable) in an accessible position.
Race-suit/overalls (These can be rented from the track if needed)
Cars MUST be tidy.
No leaks from cars at all.
Secured harnesses, 3 point seatbelts.
No loose interior.
No bald tyres.
Bald tyres with wires NOT hanging out, can be left with the track, if the wires are exposed, you have to take them away.

A mini 'scrutineer' will be done to make sure no one is flouting the rules.

Tyre changing can be done on site very cheaply.

Drift tuition available on the day.

Reasons for the new regs will be pretty obvious to most of you, after what some people turned up wearing last time.

£65 drift all day. Pay on the day. Get your names on the list.

Just a few things to add, these have come direct from the track, so no quibbles, no arguements, respect the rules please.

* Hire Race suits are for driving in not mechanics overalls.

* Re dirt drops / grass. This is not part of the driving/ drifting area and has now been re-turfed out of the drift day funds , may only be £80, Columns of tyres will be in said areas and more of them, SO they will stay off the grass or we will start banning people on the spot who dirt drop....No refunds their fees go to replacing turf.

* Accidental spin offs I have no prob with , thats the nature of the sport.

* Re: Passengers: all passengers are to be collected from pitlane , only marshals, Sam & Nick should be out of cars on LIVE circuit. Other than signed on photo people.....no more than 2 at a time.

* We are not covered for timed laps on drift days this invalidates the insurance that I have in place. Probably quite a bit more for a sprint. We will check with Insurance company next week, and find out the cost. This could mean putting drivers fee up to cover it. Also Ins would prob insist on having fire truck there. Dont really think its worth the hassle.

Any queries, please post them here. Please bear in mind, warning after warning has been given re dirt drops, we'll be handing out gardener's gloves very soon, and you'll all come down to a drift day, and be made to plant flowers all day
