Prize for most elegent removal of bumper at 60mph: Carter, you win 3 new cable ties.
Prize for the biggest nut job. Dave increasing the speed down the straight manji'ing into that real shallow mega fast right hander that has 0 run off, and doing it in what sounded like 4th gear . You win a pair of XXXXL Calvin Kleins
Best crash. Not sure if it's Dan or James . Both cars were repaired in no time with massive hammers, so I guess it's a tie

Thanks to everyone that drove for us. Even though I wasn't driving I had an awesome time

Don't know if anyone saw it but (or coverd it, I can't be frigged to read the whole thread)

Bizzle's last entry into quarry corner was a seriously beatiful thing to watch, when I heard his tyre burst and saw te car slide into that tyre wall I actually felt saddened!

I've never seen anybody crash while drifting and thought of it as a heart aching dissapointment - just one of those things normally! Must have been gutting, it could well have been the most awesome transition and skid of the day if it wasn't for that blow out!

Think it might be about time I got myself another powerful car aagain

LOL
It was one hell of a good time! The final lap before my "off" was some of the most enjoyable/fast and committed drifting i have ever done. I threw the car into camp at the top of third, manji'd along the start finish straight and pulled 4th coming through Folly, manji up to the Avon rise then back down into 3rd for a very long entry into Quarry. As i came off the handbrake and was about to come back on the power the near side rear tire exploded. I was deliberatly running a very wide line through the corner to make the drift as long as possible and subsiquently was quite close to the grass. I just couldn't keep it on the track and as soon i hit the grass i was a passanger.

Funny thing really, i stayed in the car for little while to leave the track time to clear and then leant out the window and gave the crowed a wave. Litterally hundreds of people waved back LOL was well funny.

So i get out of the car, take off my lid and hear somebody shouting "Bizzle!" i look up and who do i see but bloody Mitto and Joycey sitting right above where the car crashed..

Damage is very minor and i was lucky to say the least.

The tyre exploded due to me running 70psi of pressure in a 265 in a PS13 with 260hp and 2 degs of camber so i could get it to skid. Was great all through the day, but i think the heat i put in the tyre due to my Camp/Quarry high speed manji drift episode, on top of 3 previous laps of "giving it death" and leaving the tyres pretty dead - was a massive contributing factor
