Think I've just about dried out now

Weather really buggered this one, didn't it? Well, we still had fun. I lost count of the times I rebuilt the track. Good to meet some new faces & I sold lots of crap I've had hanging around

Deffo need to sort my car out. It's running bad & is a real handful atm. kinda pisses me off, cos I know how good it can be.

!!!

F*cking AWESOME day. Thanks again to Spin-King and 200_Chris for all of the passenger seat time legends!

Tony, I did get some pics but after that slight bath you decided to put us through my camera is buggered .. jokes! I'll give you and Chris the pic's tomorrow.

Days like that make me so gutted I sold the S13.. I drove it like a anyway but yeah lol, after today I would have atleast tried.

Awesome drifting from everyone and the Driftworks S15 is actual sex. Me and Spin-King had a conversation of wife-swapping for it.. he agreed.. I disagreed lol

Roll on the next one!

big thanks to lex and his marshalls top organisation as normal
phil that s15 sounds crazy and i agree with a cvomment earlier up i thought you were behind me but alas the other side of the track

as for my day it went from smooth to shit faster than you cansay food poisoning car was goin well on the way then entering the lanes te backbox bracket weld decided to snap clean off thus penduliming my exhaust and pulling my manifold and downpipe off making my car run poo yet again ah well it kinda skidded but after that my heart wasnt in it at all

but i managed to get on the big track and apologys to the photographer as i nearly mowed him down a few times, fair play to you sir you have balls for standing there ha ha

ah well more to do to get ready for seppy now :d

Who owned the R32 that died early on around 10am hope the damage wasnt to bad felt really sorry for you NUT forgot what you looked like to ask you if you wanted to dori my car (seen you drift before)

Whats so good about these days is the atmosphere and it being so friendly and willing to help and give tips on drifting or pick a spanner up and help sort somthing out on sombodys motor.

Gutted i cant go nextmonth as i am getting married.

Also got some DWYB stickers to hide my cone scars LOL

Silver one? That'd have been DucatiChick I suspect.

Andy man, TOTAL respect for you today. Putting up with the sodding rain alongside the marshalls (I had to change EVERYTHING waist down when I got home! Knew I should have put the waterproof trousers on straight off), and taking photo's of us nutters trying to (or not to) run you down.

Damned good to meet some new people, and it seems like my 'help' actually worked in a few cases - noticed huge improvements from the guys I helped at the beginning of the day - respect to you all, you did better than me on my first day!

Us Cardiff boys landed about an hour ago... and having left Cardiff this morning at 4am, we're all totally shattered, however, we were all still full of enthusiasm when we arrived back home.

Only my second DWYB, and certainly not the last. The EDC track was awesome, first time on that for me... so wasn't sure if I could cope, but did ok... at least, I'm happy with my performance, so that's what counts!

Thanks again to Lex and all the marshals, still being able to string together smiles and showing interest, which must be difficult during 8 hours of standing in the rain! I know I would struggle!!

Such a shame about the rain, but at least it was better for the tyres and car, especially for a newbie like myself!

Thanks again, see you all soon!
David.

what a day!

loved every minute weather was shite but it seems a tradition that every drift day i do it monsoons. so apologies weather was my jinx.

first time ive drifted pod and second time out in the M3. no damage to the car well.. a cracked front splitter but thats neither here or there. i am in desperate need of a harness, bucket seat and coilovers tho as trying to stay in one place when being attacked by bodyroll aint nice.

hats off to the crew and lex- top bloke.

see you at the license day and then another pod soon.

lets see some pics...

My feet are still crinkled up! Maaan it was wet!

Thanks to Steve (tyre man) for letting me have a few laps in the 'black mamba' as per usual

Andy, your a legend man, cant believe you stuck it out in the wet weather for so long. Top man!

Tom, ANOTHER gearbox!

Cant believe how much traction the DWS15 has in the wet, good speeds

Lastly thanks to Rads, Gareth and Lex for changing my wheels on the pimpumerc!

Thats my last DWYB for a few months due to an operation on my knee! I hope the weather is better for the next one LOL!
