| Hope you guys put on a good show, as by looks of this its going to be at the Castle Coombe Ford RSOC day, which is fricking MASSIVE, as big if not bigger than Japfest, with big power track action all day. And dont want drifting to look poor in front of a crowd thats still yet to be impressed (ie Ford/Cossie owners) do we |

| I agree with stav (shock, horror)... Whilst there are some awesome drifters in the line up... there are a few I can see who I wouldnt class as demo worthy... especially on a track such as coombe. If this is a trial to see if drifting is for coombe or not, drivers should be selected, rather than just offering up 20 spaces or so to anyone with a licence (its not hard to get a licence after all, so that doesnt really prove much) As im guessing if the coombe guys see a load of crap, whats the insentive to do it again? offer drift days? etc etc |

| That's quite a valid point I've noticed that nearly all the drivers on that list are BDC drivers I'm sure compact_dreamer has seen most of them drift and can decide if he thinks they are up to standard, I'm sure nobody would take offence if they were told they weren't quite up to it given the pressure that is on Have you asked of of the DW drivers if they are available? |

castle coombe are interested in allowing drift time on there action days, not running full drift days. we are there to drum up interest in these drift sessions, and rs day with all the big power cossies is perfect for this. we have a couple of rs fords who can drift so that should keep the purists happy!!! we have done a session in front of coombe crowds and there is no pressure to be the best.just to have fun. thanks for your comments and interest. rich.

| Thats more like it lol Quote:
I thought then that might be the end of the drift sessions at action days as every other proper session had about 40 cars on them. Im glad to see these being supported and encouraged as action days at coombe are the bomb. 15 minute drift sessions for £20 ish are value for money too imo. You'd pay that for 15 minutes of go karting and I know which Id prefer.

| I was meant to be there on the e36coupe stand Sat as well but TDSW is this saturday too ![]() I think coombe is a good track for skidding regardless of skill as Quarry and both chicanes are good for power over for begginers, when better learn some entries eventually working up to fast avon rise and camp entries. Anything is ok if people take it at their own pace imo. |

I was lucky enough to tag along on the last demo at combe in the wet, that's exactly what I did and it was a laugh. We had no major offs and the combe management liked what we did. Drifting is about having fun and if you're not enjoying it then its time to stop.
