Curborough Sprint circuit- Monday the 7th - £50 - Drifting forum

Hi chaps,

If anyone is interested in an afternoon (1-5pm) of Skidding at Curborough, near the M6 toll roll / Lichfield / Birmingham for only 50 beans, give me a shout. Maximum of 10 cars, and dirt dropping isn't allowed. You will not need a helmet either, but you should get some decent drift time. Tire facilities not available, but the surface is great!

If you're up for it, let me know in this thread. You can bring cash on the day, or paypal my 'ass.

Sure thing! Some infos:

Curborough is situated off the A38 trunk road between Burton on Trent and Lichfield in Staffordshire.
The venue is Brown Signed once you are off the A38, and also the A515 from the West. Location of Curborough Sprint Course

You will get unlimited (but in an orderly fashion of course) runs, 8 laps each run, then you're to the back of the queue to keep things running. In the morning, there is an AutoTest sprint event there I'm also running and those guys will be there all afternoon too, but there are not many of them (about 5), so you're going to get loads of time.

Dirt dropping is the art of destroying a gardeners hard work by dropping the rear wheels on the green stuff to extend / initiate / etc the drift.

We don't like it, and it's cheating.

If you're going to come, just confirm here, but don't confirm unless you're sure you can make it, as numbers are limited to ensure lots of time!

sounds well cool... will there be car/driver scruiteering? and any spectatotrs allowed?

about 99% there just need to sort out small jobs on etc...

edit: also noise limits my car is fairly loud and dont want to waste everyones time if i cant get on because off it...

No noise limits, spectators 100% allowed and free, and there will be no scruitineering, my PLI doesn't cover me for telling other people their car is safe! As long as it's not a jagged dangerous heap, that will be fine. If a car is blatantly a fire hazard, or being driven dangerously, you won't get allowed on, but it's pretty relaxed.

all i needed to know...

ill be there hpefully my coil packs will have arrived if not off to nissan it is... will pay when i arrive if thats cool...
