Curborough Sprint Track, Thursday 17th July - £65

After the problem with the track dates (they missed a 1 off the date ), we have confirmed we have a FULL day (10-5pm) of drifting for ya'll, so the price is £15 more, totalling at a bargainous £65.

For people who fancy a day of hooning around the track, there are no helmets required. I've booked it through my company (Mazda on Track), so you'll be paying me on the day. (Cash and tips accepted on the day).

There are no noise limits, the only thing we ask is no dirt drops please.

Some infos:

Curborough is situated off the A38 trunk road between Burton on Trent and Lichfield in Staffordshire. The venue is Brown Signed once you are off the A38, and also the A515 from the West. Location of Curborough Sprint Course

If you've never been to Curborough, the circuit is challenging, and full of hidden depths. Even the fastest drivers always feel they can find more speed due to the complex shape of the corners. It's great fun, and a very safe, and you're unlikely to get out of 3rd gear, it's tight and technical. You will get unlimited (but in an orderly fashion of course) runs, 8 laps each run, then you're to the back of the queue to keep things running. You're going to get loads of time basically.
The surface is pretty good on tyres, it's a standard MSA level sprint surface, so good quality asphalt with curbed clipping points.

If you're going to come, just confirm here, but don't confirm unless you're sure you can make it, as numbers are limited to ensure lots of time!

Places are very limited, and it's open to everyone.

Al

Dang my spaccy leg! Curborough is a cool little track.

If Moose go's and I'm not busy, I'll come along for the social. If my leg doesn't hurt that much on the day, I'll give tuition/advice if anyone wants it??

poo, all the good days are coming up when I can't get time off work!

For reference, if you're looking to organise one later in the year, september or whatever, I'd definitely be up for a play!

Hello All from the other half of Mazda on Track.
Sorry I have not been here before so hello again.

I'm sure Al does enough posting to cover me not saying much at all, however, July will be a good day and yes there will be a further day in September.

IN if you give him a tip, ask for a receipt!

i can't get the 17th off 2 real shame as the place is on my doorstep. I'll have to pop in on the day and see how you lot are getting on.

If this 1 goes well, will there be some more at Curborough?
