So this is really getting on my nerves. The car came standard with the digi dash and was working fine. I swapped in a 1jz engine on the gearbox that was already in the car and now it doesn't light up at all. None of the inputs have been changed (speed sensor, fuel level etc) but there is now no longer a oil pressure sensor (as the 1jz doesn't have one).

When you turn the ignition to 'on', the dash lights for a split second but that's about it.

I have tested at the plugs and it has a few 12v feeds and a few 0-5v feeds but without a proper wiring diagram, i'm not sure what should have what. The fuses are fine.

I was under the impression that the dash is independent from the ecu, so that shouldn't be an issue.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks

If it comes to it and nobody has any better ideas, i will be looking to borrow/buy another working dash to check it's not the whole dash unit that is broken.

Let me know if anyone has one i could borrow/buy off you.

    Thanks
