not first hand, no.
but its basically an hx35 so good choice for a 1jz

Out of the two which is the preferred choice

IMO you'd be out of your mind to choose anything but a HX35 (Or RS35 as they call em to not get sued by Holset, lol) if you looking for 400-550bhp and after a sub 500quid turbo for a 1JZ or RB25.

Strong as fuck, spools fast, bashes out the power. Done.
