r32 ignition barrel wiring

Right since reshelling car i have no dash board and i have noticed that the plug that the ignition barrel
plugs into has another part of a loom with the same plug. there is nothing present that this plugs into but
i know from testing it that one wire feeds dash illumination. can any shed any. have i lost a piece
of loom in the process?

sounds almost definetly like the loom for an aftermarket turbo timer.

you should find that you can unplug it and then plug the two factory bits of loom back together
