1.5 dci clio daily driver problem

just need a bit of help i was driving home and the car just died the engine light started flashing and then didnt come back on. the car started a few times idled and then died again the batterys fine and theres nothing obvious the enging temp was fine and i wasnt speeding or accelerating hard. when i tried to start it this morning it wont start but does turn over and the engine light flashes then goes off but only when turning the car over not when the ignitions on. an help would be aprieciated as im completly stumped

Get on diagnostics, if the light is flashing it would indicate a level 2 fault so it could be shutting itself off. I've done loads of injectors and pumps on these. Also a batch of these engines had problems with the turbo variable vain arm seizing in the turbo.

Get it plugged straight in and see what fault codes. At the moment the only suggestions I could give would be guessing! If you prime it with the hand primer will it start?
