    BMW E36 rack spacers...morelockz4U

as above 4mm spacers to give more steering angle on e36 bmw.

You need to remove the locking tab and use loctite on the rod threads instead, and adjust ur tracking accordingly. Also i reckon to get the most outa em you wanna run a 20mm spacer to stop tyres rubbing chassis as early.

as used by mad mike except his are 6mm cos hes a bad ass lol.

Left is standard, right has rack spacer fitted.

Just fitted em to Two-Sheds motor last nyt so now for sale cos i knows they fit.

30 delivered, got 3 sets left at the mo.

Good shizzle. Mine are 6mm but they don't use the entire 6mm as the rack runs out of teeth. 4mm is about maximum I think we just couldn't be arsed to try and clamp a 6mm ring in the lathe and turn it down 2mm lol.

I have them on my e36 racked e30 and they made a very nice difference...

I can comfirm that on an e30 with the 36 rack, standard 15" bbs with 195/50/15s chew away at the bodywork/brake lines/chassis rails and ARB... But with 20mm spacers fitted they just clear it. Low offset required kids!

No, my 6mm one isn't needed. We just guessed at it and the rack runs out of teeth before all of the spacer is used. The 4mm should have exactly the same effects as mine but with more threads left. I have a few threads left but with a 4mm spacer it would definately be safer!

as derbys most wanted says 4mm fits ace, leaves almost as much thread as orginally used with standard setup.

Sammy n K111111111111RIFT have bagged a set each so one left.

Nope lol. And they aren't off the shelf washers either, they are machined alloy. There are bigger rapes going on in the world, and if you don't like the price then don't pay it.

Agreed, Kyle has gone to the effort of getting the measurements, sourcing someone to machine them (which wasn't cheap) and then test fitting them to make sure they work as they should. Add on to that postage included and a small profit (lets face it, hes running a business) and I don't see 30 as that bad - AE86 Battle Version rack spacers were 25 iirc and I don't remember anyone griping about that.

Besides, all 3 sets are sold now afaik.

Yeah, if you don't like the price then use dodgy poor fitting washers! I wouldn't on my car though. Or any car for that matter.

    Precision costs!
