MX-5 1.6 Turbo Kit - Drifting forum

Well here is a rare thing for all you rag toppers. A friend of mine has this turbo kit for sale for a 1.6

I can't tell you what the kit is called, but it has the T25 turbo in good condition. The kit should be complete, except for an oil hose, but that's not really a big deal.

The kit includes only what is in the pictures (it worked when it came off OK!

The kit doesn't have an AFPR that I know of, and the kit is not in my possesion. It was taken of a car that is being broken for parts, but the car actually ran quite well on the test run! No smoke or anything that would have worried me when I was observing from behind. Can be fitted to a completely stock 1.6 in about 2 hours for instant boost, but you'll want to bump up the fuelling remember. The car it came of was running at around 170bhp. Your stock clutch will be fine if it is in good condition. With a decent management, and intercooler etc, you could develop this into a good platform.

Natch, you'll need to be fairly competent, and identify where stuff goes, neither myself nor Nick are offering any tech support on this

bit steep I think since you can pick up bran new full kit with FMIC, all the pipes and BOV for £550 delivered...

wrong... didn't look it up properly... it's more like £800 with all the taxes... so it's a B A R G I N ! ! !
