| Round 2 Date Change 'One More Time' – Rosegreen Send off. A recent high court ruling confirmed the Irish drift community’s worst fears. As of May 2008 drifting at the Tipperary Raceway, Rosegreen will cease. With this in mind, Prodrift have changed date of the 2nd Prodrift Irl Championship Round to May 5th where it will be, quite literally, the final time drifting will be seen on this legendary track. As Irish drifting has grown from strength to strength, Rosegreen has been instrumental as a practice ground for hundreds of drivers and has witnessed some of Irelands fiercest Prodrift battles. With May 5th marking the official end of an era, a huge crowd is expected to see Irelands best drifters battle it out for just One More Time. We’ll see you there to witness what will be an emotional and action packed end to the Tipperary Raceway, Rosegreen. |

And you will find Rosegreen had not got a leg to stand on, it was a breach of the planning laws, the place really should have been shut down a long time ago and Rosegreen made a big mistake by saying useage of the track had not increased since it was opened

| This is a huge kick in the teeth for Irish drifting, which to be fair is prob the most exciting and on the edge series in Europe, how are up and coming drivers and beginners going to manage without this track?Id love to know what prodrift are going to do now?Look for another track? We have no 'Drift what ya brung' like the UK',and now the only real place for people to learn how to drift is closing, such a shame. |

| A sad day. The place where it all started - I was there for some of the first and hope to be at the unfortunate last. Rosegreen was the springboard for Irish events all over the country and we can at least be glad for that. Andy |

| If it wasn't for rosegreen there would be NO DRIFTING in Ireland NONE ...... When every other place said no too holding an event Rosegreen said yes an there Drifting in ireland started..... I don't think rosegreen will back down an will prob contest the result , If so i think PD an all the Drifters an supporters need too help an get involed ..... Think of every thing Rosegreen has done for drifting in this country , Is everyone just going too turn there back on them now when they need us most..... I hope not... |

| well im sorry for rosegreen but not sorry for pd , because nobody from pro-drift even bothered there hole to help out mr barry and left him to fight for his lively hood alone.theyve been doing it for years and now everyone has to suffer, all they think about is themselfs and dont care if anyone else gets hurt.they plan and bumping up the entry to €100 to enter and i think that is because not many good drivers in ireland want to drive for them anymore.i know some pd fans will say well its still cheap but you have to remember that ireland gets the biggest attendances for drifting in europe and thats to see the drivers not pd staff. so untill they stop filling drivers with lies about bringing them to america etc let them have it as ther is now a better championship in D-RIFT which actually treats the drivers with some respect ,so i know where ill be driving this year,EDC D-RIFT all they way and hopefully some of you eng drivers will support it aswell you wont be dissapointed |

![]() Don't agree there at all to be honest lads , Very one sided opinion , PD has done alot for drifting in ireland an euroupe ..... D-rift is also a great series an 2008 is going too be massive for D-rift .... Yes PD make alot of money from the events but look at how much they have put back into the sport they do a shiiiiit load of work behind the scene's, What ye say about track time could be ture but it didn't happen by lack of tryin by PD , I know the organisers at the events work there socks off from 8am in the morning till the last car leaves the car park that evening no matter what time it is 6, 7pm... I could go on an conpare EDC an PD on the euro scene but hey why open another can of worms ![]() ![]()

| This is allways the same in this country man. As soon as young people seem to be enjoying themselvs the government step in and ruin it for everyone. Now we have nowhere to go drifting people will start doing it on the streets and the government will say "why are they driving like this on the streets" and then they will realise that they took any deecent place we had to practice away from us. That my complaint for the week. |
