Hows our boys do?

A fair few from our side of the water went. Just wondering if anyone had any updates?
I spoke to Retrodan earlier after qualifying, and he said the weathers foul, and he wasn't happy with his qualification runs, but thinks the cars going to be sweet after he get's used to it (his first ever time driving it was a couple of runs in practice yesterday)

yeah dan was flying, fair play as its alot diffrent to what he's used to. bon bon made it to the top battles, but was knocked out by mike dean, they had to run three times before the judges came to a decision, dont know how they decided as it was some of the closest drifting ive seen, have to say, big well done to all the lads for coming over and representing, some top noch driving! hope to make it over there for a round or two then the new machine is ready.

the track dried out for the twin battles but it was fooking cold!!

1st Daren Macnnamara sr86
2nd Alan lenihan s13
3rd Damien mulvey rb26 powered s13
4th James Deane s13

Bon Bon got knocked out in the last 16 by mike deane after 6 runs... i thought he deserved a 1 monre time but maybe the judges seen something i didnt... i suppose deane was a small bit more agressive on the last run... but then again bonbon cover the whole track in smoke... that thing must eat tyres

the only other guy who made it to the last 16 form your side was declan hicks... i think his name was... i think thats cpt sideways on here...

he went up against damien mulvey in the last 16 but he got it totaly wrong on the first bend and had a head on armco impact... looked to be quite alot of damage done...

Nope Alan Lenihan was awarded the win on the podium. Not sure what the story was but Alan took the win.

Just back from it there now and have a few vids, I will try to get them fired onto youtube here now.

Bon Bon's motor was running well and was a true smoke machine His runs were some of the best drifting ive seen in ages.

i didn't realise there was a qustion over the win at the end
darren had pretty much passed lenihan at the end of the last run so i definatly thought he had the win!

very impressed with bon bon's motor, what a smoke machine lol

Declan gave it a light tip but the cosmetic damage looked serious + It knocked him out.
Was Bon Bon not happy with the result of his runs?
The judging was fair enough, until the end, dont know what they were at but they seriously fcuked it up.
