Add's up to an 11-9 overall to me which doesn't justify a one more time at all?

i thought the second run should have been 6-4 to k-san there fore a 1 more time , alot of people watching thought so also but thats drifting i guess, its a shame as i would have liked to see them run again it would have been a good battle,
we may be over to mondello next weekend perhaps see if we have more luck there,

Right,

after a very interesting weekend in London at JDM Allstars wembley I learned a lot of things about my car and they setup. I got relentless track time to play about with rear damping and also tyre pressures to try and get the Maximum out of the Maxxis MAZ1 Drift tyres

I absolutely love the grip these tyres have but i also learned that the car was running extremely poor and needed immediate professional attention. For those of you who attended JDM will know how bad it was running but for those who were not it had a terrible mid range misfire rendering it nearly un-driveable.

The lads from XtremeAutos.ie here in my hometown of Waterford told me to get the car up to them ASAP for diagnostics and a full rolling road session to re-map the ECU and solve the problems.

I arrived and we did a power run to see how she was. I was amazed. 211bhp and a chronic misfire between 4 and 6000rpm!! Eoin got to work mapping the car and we saw steady improvements immediately with 350bhp and 1.1bar, 382bhp and 1.3 and finished off with 401bhp at just about 1.5 bar boost and a healthy 378Ibs.ft of torque. HAPPY!!

Thanks to Richie and Eoin @ Xtreme Autos for fitting me in on literally no booking to get the car sorted for Prodrift Round 3 in Mondello this weekend and also Prodrift Super Series Round 3 in Donnington the following weekend.

Howdy guys,

Just a quick update before i get around to updating my blog from Prodrift in Mondello on deankearney.com and also everythingdrift.com

Heres a cool picture of my Maxxis Tyres S13 featured in Forza 2 that someone has gone and replicated. It also answered my questions wondering what my 600bhp BN Sports Koguchi power S13 will look like because my current car is a onevia but the Koguchi power is a Sil80 like below.

Heres a couple of snaps courtesy of Paddy McGrath from the weekend where i qualified 4th overall in SUPERLAP and went on to lose the final to current Championship leader Mike Deane.

Thanks Mike!!

Keep your eyes peeled on Dean Kearney dot Com - Online Home of The Drift Team Karnage for a blog repor from me on the weekend and also let me know what u think of the website which has been updated with a new look.

What a week!!

Just updated my blog on Dean Kearney dot Com - Online Home of The Drift Team Karnage with some news from recently.

I will be doing up my event report from Prodrift Super Series in Dinington last weekend where in finished 2nd to Danny Eyles of Team Japspeed, only for another pesky fire burnt the spark amplfier out and my car could start handing the win on a 5 minute rule...I was gutted!!

I have secured blogging rights to everythingdrift.com so I will have to get my teeth sunk into that ASAP after Ross and George bent over backwards for a young buck like me!!

On another note, crankandpiston.com have become instant fans of "Killer Karnage" to put it how Phil McGovern of the website said and they are very eager to do some interesting things in the near future...Ill keep you posted on this!!

For now though im off to Mondello 2moro for a Prodrift Academy day debuting the two new Monster Energy Prodrift academy cars....lets hope they stay as cool looking as this for as long as possible.....hey graham!! haha
