Drifting in the North East

Filming/photography at South Tees MX Park all day so depends what time I call my finish there lol. And what time I'm going for tea at a mates.

any updates on doing a drift only night

I am a member of TRCC and have been just racing a tt-01 setting it up for drifting though and buying a new one for racing, we need to get more drifters down to get a drift night opened as there is only 3 or 4 drifters at the club at the moment

I was a member of CBC befor it changed To Trcc Ron and sue days. Started going down when I was 10 years old gave it all up when I passed my test. Is it on every wed night who runs it nowadays

There's a couple of us also interested in doing drift meets around the north east, set up a little course in multi storeys etc if anyone is interested

I've been completely out of RC lately. Working with the BMW and my RC charger is dead and can't afford to replace atm. Might not be active again at TRCC til september time due to working Wednesdays as well but will be back... If anybody is running anything outside TRCC on other nights etc on car parks or whatever let me know as I'd try and pop along!

As for the unit in hartlepool... Talks are still underway but as I said, I'm halted atm due to the small number of people RC drifting (need many more to make it affordable) and not having the time to do things.

That's what we are trying to do, get a few rc drifters together to have regular meets in car parks, multi storeys etc.

Yeah man that's groovy. I might be able to get some proper tetsujn curbing if I speak to Mitto if anything gets going regularly in multi storeys/w.e. Just need the numbers now

Hi guys went to trcc last night. I've got the bug back been looking at some tt01e some nice trick bits for them about. Alloy n carbon..= win Still trying to get me head round the brushless motors. The price of things now is low. Things were double the price ten years ago. FEELING OLD..........

Just to update anybody in the area... A new permanent - concrete surface - RC drift track is getting developed on Thursday! It's at this same venue and despite only being small should be pretty cool Specially with it being indoors!

I'l get some pics on Thursday so I can post them up on here once I'm home!

Chats are on-going with ideas to extend the track width to allow another metre of track space... Means I've been busy on PS trying to work out which layout could work best!

Mitto suggested this kind of thing... So looks like it will probably be the new layout
