hi ya all,

i have been racing indoor 1/10th electric you about 7 0r 8 years now and i have been getting into the rc drift as of late. sooooo my question is whos about in the kent and essex area who would want to meet up for some rc drifting at some where like bluewater, lakeside etc....... as abit boring running on your own but thought if a couple of us could get together it could be a good laugh

what do you think?

Kent people, search on Google maps for Lochat Road, Hoo St. Werburgh, United Kingdom. it the end of the road where it meets the roundabout, you should find a RC track. this is completely disused (except for me visiting about once every 2 weeks!) it is free to use, you can use it at anytime, but there are no streetlights! The track is perfect for learning, because you really don't understand the concepts of RC Drifting from car parks. I have tried numerous times to set up a monthly meet here, but it hasn't really took off, so if you want a Kent RC meet, take it from here.

That was maritime racings old outdoor track, was great years ago. Can you get in the car park there still?

You can't get to the car park anymore, but there is space for 4 or 5 cars before the barrier that now closes the road. Note that you cannot drive down Lochat Road, you have to park near the barrier, and walk down the side and then onto the track.

Yeah it was last used about 5 or 6 years ago might even be longer ago, I would be up for meeting up there and having a run. Would be good with a couple of people there
